Fosterville Terminal Station

PROFINISH Coatings worked with Downer Group to upgrade the passive fire protection at the Fosterville Terminal Station.

Working in Axedale just outside of Bendigo we used Nullfire Intumescent Coatings to protect the steel rails at this regional electrical substation, bringing them up to the required FRL of 120/120/120.
The steel was coated at our facility in North Shore and delivered on-site to the Axedale location.
During the updgrade, we also applied fire retardant board to the supporting columns for optimum passive fire protection.
