COTTON:ON Childcare

PROFINISH Fire Protection worked with COTTON:ON  and Bowden Corp to install a Speedpanel® fire protection solution for their new childcare centre.

We always enjoy doing local work and this project at COTTON:ON Headquarters in North Geelong was no exception. As a company that values the safety and wellbeing of its staff, and of course, its children, we worked together with Bowden Corp to specify a fireproofing solution for the main boundary wall.

We installed a 78mm Speedpanel® wall from one side which was fixed to the new steel structure which will prevent fire spreading from the existing building into the new centre. This achieved a -/120/120 minute (FRL) Fire Resistance Level running from ground to above roof – approx. 7m high.
